A frightful win for FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park

FEAR Avon Valley Scream Park, a multi-award winning Halloween festival event based at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park has just added one more award to their collection. Scare Con, Europe’s only trade show dedicated to the scare attraction industry announced their annual awards on Wednesday 22nd May 2019 where FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park won ‘Best Scream Park’. Delighted to be shortlisted against Tulley’s Shocktoberfest, Farmaggedon, Dr Frights Halloween Nights, York Maze Hallowscream and Broadwitch Hauntfest; the win cements FEAR at Avon Valley alongside some of the UK’s top Scream Park attractions.

Doug Douglas, Owner of Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park, and FEAR at Avon Valley Scream Park says of the award; “It’s incredible that we won this award, especially when you consider the other attractions that we were up against. 2019 is going to be a bigger and better year for Fear at Avon Valley Scream Park”.

FEAR Avon Valley Scream Park is now the largest Halloween attraction in the South West Of England.

Returning for its sixth year, the 2019 event is bigger than ever before with a new 5th scare maze added to the award winning roster. Last year the team launched a brand-new scare maze ‘House of Clowns’, a visual assault on the senses through the nightmare of a child.
Aiming to push guests to their boundaries, award-winning maze Phobia has had an eerie makeover. Now named Phobia: Rebirth, this interactive maze will be testing guests phobias and fears to their ultimate limits.
Alongside this Anarchy: Live returns striking terror once again as guests play a deadly game of cat-and-mouse against the post-apocalyptic cannibal tribe.
X4, 2017’s new maze will also be making a return, offering guests the chance to face their deepest fears – will they survive what’s inside?
Guests will have a chance to ‘get their own back’ on those dreaded zombies in Killzone, a unique first person, live action shooting game. A completely different experience to the other attractions, and definitely not one to miss.

The terror doesn’t stop there; after braving the attractions, take a break with a drink in the fully licenced bar whilst enjoying our fearful roaming street performance team, a visit to the 2-minute escape room, paintballing, stilt walkers, and regular fire light shows.

Doug Douglas, owner of Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park says of the event; “FEAR Avon Valley Scream Park is the largest attraction of its kind in the South-West. Last year we saw 16,000 scare fans through the door last year.”

The attractions, street theatre, access to the funfair and bars are all included in a standard FEAR ticket with prices starting at just £20.00. The event goes live on Friday 18th October 2019 and runs for 11 days on selected nights until Saturday 2nd November.

With easy transport links between Bristol and Bath, FEAR Avon Valley Scream Park takes place at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park, Keynsham, BS31 1TP. Tickets are on general release on the 21st June and are available from www.fearavonvalley.com. Tickets are limited each night so it’s recommended to buy in advance.
