We are really looking forward to seeing you!

As we all know, we are now living in times of the “new norm” and will therefore be adhering to the Governments COVID security measures in order to abide by the rules but still making your break with us, an enjoyable one.

We hope you understand that the rules below are created by the Government in order, to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Please do not travel if any members of your family are feeling unwell!
If you or any member of your party display symptoms prior to arrival, please email or call us on 07887503571 and we will transfer your booking to a later date, free of charge.

Anyone showing symptoms during their stay will be asked to return to their main residence immediately and self-isolate as per government safety guidelines.

In response to Covid-19 we have carefully reviewed procedures across the Park and implemented a range of special measures to ensure full compliance for the safety of everyone.  This, however, will only work if we also have your full support and compliance to our measures that we have put in place.  We strongly believe, if we all work together then everyone can go about their holidays and enjoy the stunning surroundings we have to offer here at Avon Valley.

(please note the park will be open for a number of day visitors, they will not be allowed to access the camping areas, but we strongly recommend that you do not leave any valuables unattended at any time as per any tented campsite in the UK.)
Here’s what to expect:

Check-in
On arrival, you will be directed to the contactless reception where a member of the team will check you in from the comfort of your car. Pitch check-ins between 15:00- 18:00. (Please note there is no access to site before this time.)

Departure
Please vacate your pitch by 10.30 am on the day of departure. Please ensure your pitch is left clean & tidy and all rubbish is in tied bin bags left by your site marker or taken home with you.

Groups

We understand you may be meeting friends and family while staying with us, we will be asking you to adhere to the guidelines of only 2 family groups to meet and will be encouraging social distancing.  Please do not bring any Gazebo or event shelter.

Toilet

Each pitch has a designated event loo numbered according to your pitch number. Feel free to bring your own padlock in order to ensure your private use. The toilets have a 15mm hole for a padlock, we do sell small padlocks in the camp shop.

Rustic Outdoor Showers
These are outdoor rustic showers,  there will be a hand sanitiser for your use on entry and on your way out. Additional cleaning will be carried out, with you playing your part too in keeping the facilities clean and tidy for everyone to enjoy.

Please do not queue inside the shower area for your shower, if they are all occupied please go back outside the fence and either wait for someone to come out or come back a little later. If you can spread out when you take a shower throughout the day rather than the usual morning and evening periods this will help with social distancing and aid our cleaning regimes.

Children MUST be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult when using all our shared facilities.

It will be very helpful if caravan and motorhomes with self-contained bathrooms use their own facilities during these times, again to help reduce the numbers that do need to use the shared facilities.

We do not have any washing up sinks on-site, so you may want to pack a washing up bowl and wash up on your pitch. There will be a wastewater container by the toilet for you to throw any greywater away.

Elsan Point (IBC)
It is advisable that you use your own gloves when emptying portable toilets and caravan cassettes.  There will be a hand sanitiser near for you to use before and after.
NO gloves, wipes, or facemasks to be flushed away.

General waste bins & Water tap points – we strongly advise all guests to sanitise before and after use of any of these areas.

Day visitors – To keep chances of infection to a minimum and to reduce the number of people using our shared facilities we will not be allowing any day visitors during your stay. We understand that this may be frustrating however we have a duty of care to our staff and guests and we thank you for supporting us with this decision.

All of the above, will be reviewed and adapted if needed, but this is the plan we have managed to get together, covering all aspects of the Government’s requirements, that must be respected and followed by everyone.  We are all in this together!!

Putting all the rules to one side, our aim is to always make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and this situation is no different, it’s just in a different way this year 😊
