Introducing Mattia – Head of Fun!

We pride ourselves on having such a wonderful, fun team to work with and present you with events you love.  Now it’s set to become even more fun as we have someone in charge of it!  Mattia is the latest addition to our team and he has LOADS of fun, new activities and entertainment planned for this year so watch this space!  With a wealth of experience, passion and a big imagination, Mattia has previously worked at Alton Towers and Longleat before finding his new home with us.  Saving the best till last obviously!

How long have you worked at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park?

Only a month, I’m the baby of the family!

 

What is your favourite animal/activity in the park?

Joules the baby Alpaca! I really love Alpaca’s so when I saw him for the first time he became my favourite animal here.

 

What is your favourite thing about working in the park?

The family atmosphere we have as a team and the guests.

 

What is your favourite childhood film?

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, it has the best princess and the best villain in that film.

 

Do you have any pets?

Yes! Two beautiful bunnies!

 

What is your party trick?

Ooooo that’s a tough one…I’ve only recently learned how to roll my tongue into a tube so I’d say that is my trick.

 

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I suppose I am a grown up? 🙁 But I’ve always wanted to be in a fun role at a visitor attraction.

Why do elephants paint their toenails red?

So they can hide in cherry trees!

Have you ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree?

…exactly! It works, doesn’t it?!
