IT’S OUR 30TH BIRTHDAY!!

JOIN IN THE CELEBRATIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!!
The Douglas family and all the team at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park would like to wish you all a Happy New Year!!

We also want to get you excited about all the fun and adventure we have in store for your family in 2019!!

If you haven’t guessed from the above already, it’s our 30th birthday this year, and we are set to celebrate every month
with some of our favourite activities and events along with brand new ones!!

 

JANUARY

We’re officially launching Forest Skills & Mini Rangers midweek activity sessions! Our rangers will lead hour long, hands-on, outdoor activities for preschoolers every Tuesday-Friday throughout term times and it’s all included in park admission.

And in other news, our Café is looking to go greener than ever with the introduction of a ‘bring your own cup‘ scheme in a bid to help reduce waste.

 

FEBRUARY

Lambing Live is back this February and we know how many of you enjoyed last year’s lambing stories so look out for the pregnant ewes moving into the Animal Barn during January!  Throughout half term week you will be able to see newborn lambs every day and enter competitions to name them.

MARCH

Can your little one ride a bike yet? We have a British Cycling Coach coming for two weekends in March to get your children riding bikes!! If you all love it we’re sure to make a Balance Bike School area a new addition to the park’s offering.

Late-night opening is back on 1st March and running on the first Friday of every month.

BubbleMania returns the weekend of 16th & 17th – have a blast with the bubble tricks and games!

And don’t forget to treat mum to a day out for Mothers Day on 30th March!

 

APRIL

April brings Easter fun at Avon Valley and throughout the school holidays this year magical fairies and unicorns will be taking over the whole Park with their glitter and magic! What will you discover?

We’ve got a NEW Driving Attraction also being launched for the Easter holidays. Get ready for a mini safari!

MAY

Nature & Wildlife Month is back.

May is a great month for wildlife, plants and natural life.

Join us as we celebrate through Nature & Wildlife Month with pond-dipping activities, bug hunts and so much more.

JUNE

On the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd the Strawberry Line Railway will be hosting an extra special guest – look out for the announcement later in the year!

And don’t forget Father’s Day on 16th June. Treat your dad to a great day out at the Park!

JULY

This July we will be hosting a big party weekend celebrating our 30th year in style!

AUGUST

Summer is always heaps of fun at Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park and we have lots of Summer fun planned finishing, as always, with our Massive Family Water Fight on Friday 30th August.

SEPTEMBER

Back to school isn’t all bad… Forest Skills and Mini Ranger will be back for preschoolers midweek! All of this will be included in your day out at Avon Valley.

OCTOBER

October is a month of scares, spooks and ghouls as we prepare for Halloween.

PYO – Back at Avon Valley! Yes, you heard it here first! This year you can come and pick your very own pumpkin from a field at the park. It’s been many years since the park stopped growing its famous strawberries and other fruit but Farmer John is sowing seeds again later this year.

Spooky Fun for children will be back in October half term.

And for the grown-ups, FEAR Scream Park is back bigger and scarier than before.

NOVEMBER

Watch the skies blast with colour at our Fireworks to Music spectacular for Bonfire Night weekend.

This event is very popular so we advise purchasing your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

DECEMBER

Journey to the North Pole to visit Father Christmas and Mrs Claus with our magical immersive Christmas Experience.
Ticketed for selected dates from Saturday 23rd November – 24th December. Look out for your emails later in the year for our pre-general release access to tickets.

Expect across the park a complete Elf-takeover where anyone visiting the park can take part in multiple elf stations to earn their very own Elf Qualification.

WHAT ELSE?

Launching in 2019, local schools and nurseries based in Keynsham & Saltford can apply for our PTA pack just drop a line to marketing@avonvalley.co.uk.

This year we are set to overhaul the food and beverage across the park.

We will be bringing you a new coffee and cake outlet, and a separate dining area alongside the Indoor Play Barn with new menus and offering which will delight you all.

We’re already licking our lips!

And if all of the above wasn’t enough…our Entertainments Team are upping their fun levels in 2019.
